Available in 4 different BBC's from 106" thru 160" with GVW's from 16,000 lbs to over 73,000 lbs. for trucks, and GCW's up to 80,000 lbs. for tractors the M2 can be matched with an infinite variety of bodies. Cabs are offered in standard, extended cab and 4-door crew cab configurations for the application versatility you expect from the leading truck manufacturer.  Powertrain components include the standard Mercedes-Benz 900 series diesel engine from 6.4L 210hp to 7.2L 330hp in the M2 106, and the Mercedes-Benz 4000 series diesel from 330hp to 450hp in the M2-112.  Cummins engines are offered in a wide variety of power ranges also. Transmissions from Mercedes-Benz, Fuller and Allison automatics offer many choices to customize the Freightliner M2 to specific vocations.
